July 9, 2017

I was super lucky to get this interview with Lindsay Tomasic. She is one of THE most successful writers in music licensing. You probably haven’t heard of her, but you almost certainly have heard her music on your favorite TV shows, movies, and ads.

In this short clip of the interview, Lindsay talks about two important secrets of getting your music licensed to TV & film.

interesting and helpful video! Im a older performer, hoping to pass my material on, as im too old to sell. I hope to pick your brain a little, as to creating the instrumental background music needed in film and TV. "mood music"..( like what does Happy Dog sound like? what does tragidy sound like?) does this kind of music sell? appeal to music production companys? ive written "comercial song" in the hope I would be the artist?performer…but at ^$, i doubt it . sooo now what to do? thanks for any time and input. By the way where in Michigan did you work? im near Detroit…
